Billy Hamilton consignment return

A day after getting a Billy Hamilton future are return, this card came back from consignment.  This is the 131st autographed card from the set. 

Kmart purchase with some good hits.

 After a Sunday of shopping, I decided to pick up some cards at K-Mart.  I picked up two series 2 jumbo packs for 2.99 each and 2 series 1 hanger packs.  Had some of my best hits ever on these.

I first opened the series 2 packs.   This is my first dessert camo variation (#15/99). Pretty happy about that.

2nd pack had a Billy Hamilton Future Star variation. 

 

I then opened the series 1 hanger packs.  Got some good parallel gold, red foil and some good inserts that I didn't have before.

 

I didn't have any yellow parallel cards so I knocked 4 out...many to go. 

 

I was a big Tony Gwynn fan so I'm always happy to see that.

 

Pretty fired up for this last card.  First auto that I have ever picked up from a pack and a big one!

Scn purchase

I am a member of scn (gasypo).  Recently I purchased these three autographed cards.  I am about 110 cards in on the autograph side.

Welcome!

Like many, I was a big baseball card collector as a kid.  I faded away from cards until late 2013.  I am a big White Sox fan and have a blog about cards, autographs that I have acquired since then.

I was really excited for the 2014 season and really liked the simple design of the 2014 Topps series.  After trying to collect a bit of everything like I did as a kid, I have decided to narrow my collection to 2014 Topps/Topps Update with the big ambition of getting as many signed as possible.  This blog will be my journey to get these.
